Sesame Street Cupcakes

We were busy this weekend, playing Sesame Street!
We had a birthday party for my 2 year old.
These cupcakes were simple and inexpensive to make.
1 box of cake mix, 1 jar of vanilla frosting, 1 box of the cheapo food coloring, Wilton Brand candy eyeballs found at Walmart and different toppings for each character.  Here is the breakdown:
Cookie Monster-
1/2 chocolate chip cookie, candy eyes
Oscar-
brown cake sprinkles, 1/2 mint cookie, 1/2 fruit snack for the tongue, candy eyeballs
 Elmo-
1/2 Oreo cookie, orange Sixlet for the nose and candy eyeballs
Big Bird-
candy eyeballs dipped in blue frosting, a fruit snack cut in half and opened as a beak
I'll share how I made the personalized Sesame Street Sign later on.
