We have had a year full of Doctor visits. They have not been very fun. So to my surprise, when I asked my 3 year old what she wanted to be this year for halloween she said a DOCTOR!
Really, I said. Are you sure???
(Thank goodness I had seen this post a while back.)
I tweeked it a little by adding the ruffles to the top and the red felt has glitter on it.
I think it adds a little girlie touch to it.
I also made a very simple felt doctor bag to hold all of those doctor tools and that goes with the costume
but can also be used as the goodie bag for trick or treating. SUPER!!
This nurse has been hard at work, it's been great for dress-up.
We are well taken care of around our house with a live in doctor....or nurse that is :)

Simply adorable!!!
Visiting via Tatertots, and I just had to when I saw your link photo. This is beautiful, you did a wonderful job on this.
That is just too stinkin' cute!
This is too cute! I love this idea. And, it looks pretty easy to make. Maybe I could convince my own daughter to try this out for Halloween? :)-
Really cute! Love the dual-purpose tote bag to match!
That turned out really sweet. And the dual purpose bag is really ingenious.
What a great costume - and the bag to go with it is brilliant!! You have so many great ideas on your blog - I'd love if you linked any of them up to my weekly Round Tuit party at:

How creative..I just am fizzing with creative juice now. I was struggling with the idea of making my boys a dress up trunk and now I can see the "aprons" flowing. So much quicker and they won't outgrow them as easily. Fantastic inspriation. Thanks.
I love the bright colors on this costume, it came out perfect! So professional looking, much better than crappy bagged costumes!
Adorable! what a fun idea! It's so pretty! I need one for a little boy! Thanks for linking up to Topsy Turvy Tuesday's!
SO cute! I'm going to be featuring it on Monday! So come on by and grab a button! Thanks again for linking up (and way to go on already being on the ball for Halloween!)

This is adorable!
My barely 2-year-old daughter broke her leg last month, so after an ER visit, three visits to the orthopedist, and one regularly-scheduled visit to her pediatrician, we've decided to make her a nurse/doctor for Halloween. I'm copying your apron and adding "scrubs". I bought a blue men's shirt at a thrift store instead of fabric from the fabric store. Thanks!
Oh, my gosh! So very adorable!
