Dinosaur Car Seat Canopy

I am slowly getting things ready for our little man.

My energy is dwindling now.... I can't imagine how it will be in a few months :)

I made my youngest girl one the same way a couple of years ago.

I took one yard of fabric of two fabrics.  Pre-washed and dried them both.  Curved the corners with a bowl, sewed them together, added Velcro straps decorated with a button to finish it off.  I found the dinosaur fabric at Joann's. If you want to make your own and need step by step instructions, just do a google search and a bunch of free tutorials will come to your rescue :) Just pick your favorite one to follow.

Easy DIY Swaddling Baby Blankets

 Here is my first project that I have completed for my new little man.
*Flannel Swaddling blankets* 

It's great to have some other colors besides pink and purple in my blanket stash :)

Take a piece of flannel, cut to the size of blanket you like (I do mine 36"x36"), simply turn over the edges twice and sew a finished edge.  Simple, very functional and super cute.  I made these same blankets for my baby girls so I know they work!!

And we could not be happier around this house.......... my hot hubby can not stop smiling, he is feeling pretty proud of himself :) 

Who knew that growing little man parts would take so much energy!!!!  haha

 I am now making a boy list of things to do. So if you have any MUST HAVE THIS for BOYS, leave me a comment and tell me what it is. (don't worry....peepee teepee's are on the list already)
