I have invited some special guests to a Mother's Day lunch this weekend. My mother, aunt, mother in law, grandma and a sister in law. It's going to be a fun afternoon just to get together and have some yummy food.
Below are the little things that I have put together to make this a special lunch.....I will do a recap next week on the food and flowers that I also have planned.
First, I found this adorable set of free printables that truly helped pull this all together.
They were perfect for my red and turquoise theme.
Here are the invitations:
Place setting treat buckets:
dollar store buckets found in the wedding section filled with treats
I gathered up a photo of each person taken with their mom.
I went for older photos....take a look at them, they are so fun and add a personal touch.
Individual salad dressing cups:
I found these tiny shot cups at the dollar store
They will be perfect to go with the main dish
red CRUSH drinks and straws:
Banner for the food table:
I had fun pulling the table together. I already had the polka dot table cloth that I had made several months ago, I used scrapbook paper for the place mats. I found the free printable to place next to each plate, added the family photos to the table for everyone to see and enjoy. Cute polka dot paper plates from walmart. I will be planting flowers into cans that will be placed down the middle of the table.
Guests Gift bags:
Each guest will be receiving one of these bags to take home.
Each bag has a candy dish, homemade chocolate chip cookies and some other little items.
I made the candy dishes with Target bowls and dollar store candle sticks.
I hope this has helped you put together a fun lunch for the important women in your life.
Happy Mother's Day!
I'll post pictures next week of the food and guests next week!
