This is such a fantastic weekend project that you might enjoy doing (esp during the Super Bowl) inside and out of the cold and they are so fun to make.
I came across this idea a few months ago.....and ever since have been wanting to make some. You make monsters out of gloves!! So here is my Valentine's Day twist on that idea. "i love you" Monsters. Perfect for any of your little monsters adorable children this Valentine's Day.
And as my 4 year old said... "look mom, it has a heart on it's bum!"
yep honey, that is right.
These are a great way to use up missing pairs of gloves, small fabric scraps and ribbon. They came together SOOOO fast and where really fun to make. I used hot glue to attach the fabric and eyes and ribbon. Stuffed batting into the glove and then sewed a simple stitch along the bottom to not only close up the glove but for added detail and then I also hot glued it shut as well. I didn't want my 20 month old pulling out the stuffing cause I know she would :)
(did ya notice the 2 fingers that are missing so the monster says i love you?)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Pinned it! Cute for Valentines AND if your little one is afraid of the dark, like mine, the "I Love You" Monster can remind her you love her and chase scary thoughts away ;)
