How to make potato Steak Fries

Here is how to make healthy Steak Fries.....yes healthy fries :)

Start with a large Bakers Potato (we Love using sweet potatoes too)
Wash and dry the potato
Cut the potato in half like this:
Then cut it into thirds like this:
Place all of your potatos in a bowl
Add olive oil, salt and pepper and garlic salt
mix...covering all the potatoes with the oil
Then spread the potatoes in a single layer on a jelly-roll pan
Cook on HIGH 400* until your desired crispyness. (about 30 minutes)
serve with sloppy joes or even use these to scoop up homemade chili.

Thanks for posting this! I have a bunch of red potatoes starting to sprout. If they're not gone for good I'm totally doing these with chili for dinner :D

Delicious! Instead of salt we just added more garlic salt because that stuff is so GOOD! I also added basil because it's my favorite herb :) They taste delicious and my boys can't get enough. They don't even want to eat the chili although they have to eat some of it ;)
