Play Spice Containers for the kids

I took a package of wooden spools and made them into spice containers
for the PLAY KITCHEN I just made for our kids.

I glued a wooden circle to the top of the spool to hide the whole, painted each spool in a different color, let them dry then glued a button to the top.  I then used a sharpie to write the names of different spices.
This is were I got the idea to use wooden spools.

    How perfect! I worked in Head Start with pre kids. This would have been great to know back then, now I can try it out on the grand daughters. Lezlee

    OMG that is the CUTEST idea! Having taught Kdg., worked with 0-3's, and my own kiddo, I would love to have some of these around. Love it!
