reupholster Fisher Price furniture

Do any of you have any of the old school Fisher Price toys laying around?  I was so lucky to have acquried these beauties from my older sister...(thanks Jen!).....me and my siblings played with these all growing up.
And as you can tell we really put them through the war!  This is what they looked like
Before :
And here is the After :
So much better!!
All I did was scrape out the old foam stuff with a kitchen knife, cut out rectangles from felt scraps and hot glued them onto the furniture.  And this house is the other beauty I found at the thrift store for $3.00.  It was just the right size to fit the older Fisher Price toys....... perfect!!
I plan to continue passing down these toys, they just don't make them like this anymore.

  2. I love the old Little People. I have a few I found at a thrift store, but would love more. Have you seen the cute new tees they have for girls? It says "Chillin with my people" and it has pics of the older Little People. I think I am going to have to get it for my daughter.

  8. that is such an amazing idea. They turned out so well. I can't believe you still have all the pieces. Since I was the oldest and we moved a lot, most of my toys were misplaced over the years.

  16. Another thing that works great is to cut a piece a foam craft sheet and glue it in the bed. My mom did that with my old FP beds. Wish I had them at my house...
