So I went looking for pictures that I had taken back in 2008 of the fabulous Valentine's Day that I know I had put together......just excuse the quality of pictures.....for this blog was not even a thought 2 years ago.....but I wanted to share the small things I had put together.
So here we go!!
First :
He gave me roses.....LOVED them but oh man he beat me so I made him wait all day for his gift :)
A Homemade dinner :
(this is what we did since we had a newborn and couldn't find a babysitter so we just put the baby to bed and
had a late night dinner just for 2....just an idea :)
Menu : Ribeye steak, veggie and roasted garlic potatoes
gotta love the correl dinnerware!...I promise to do better!
For dessert :
Raspberry Sherbet Slush, Double Layer Raspberry Filled chocolate cake
(I was so proud of myself for making the cake...super easy and even more yummy)
The gift :
a basket filled with all of his favorite goodies (besides me of course) and a list of 101 things I love about you!
He loved the list....some were funny and some were serious but I think I had even more fun coming up with the reasons.
Hope that helps give you some ideas. I am still working out some of my own for this year but I do have more Valentine's things to come. Oh I can feel the love already!
That was so thoughtful! I might steal the basket idea.
